La Noche. Here is it the golden age landscape paintings that have inspired me with their often mysterious spaciousness, through the use of light. Since the photos were taken at night in total darkness, lit only by moonlight and handheld flash, I create a picturesque atmosphere of natural darkness. Contrary to The Project Room, the photograph is here orchestrated all along, but everything happening at the moment the photo is exposed, nothing is edited afterwards.
The photographs are all taken into Park Güell in Barcelona, known by tourists from around the world by daylight, but not at night. The transformation of the park to ghost-like landscape photographs, create for me, question how we observe the world. In “my” world, there are ghosts.
